Eòlais Cinema

I’d been one of the team running the Scottish version of the Cinéma Cent Ans de Jeunesse project here in Scotland as Understanding Cinema through the Centre for the Moving Image for the last 10 years or so.  When the opportunity to run the project through Screen Argyll came up I dived at the chance.  The theme for this year was Motifs in Cinema.  We had groups all over the country taking part with the very best of tutors, Kate Burton, Yasmin Al-Hadithi and Sandie Jamieson who delivered their sessions mostly online.
The students created 21 films for the final exercise in the project. Their was really quite remarkable and a valuable addition to the Scottish contributions to CCAJ.
