Mull Music Makers – Filmmaking

I’ve been working with a local music charity for young people called Mull Music Makers over the last years to make fundraising films and also to evidence their work for their funders.
Mull Music Makers [MMM] are a part of Sound Waves SCIO, who also run Mendelssohn on Mull.

MMM perform really vital work in our communities. They’ve been going for ten years now and have a fantastic track record, performing locally and with Nicola Benedetti in Edinburgh. They allow young people to find their voice through working with music, taught by the finest tutors around, including the remarkable Patsy Reid.

MMM’s work is creating a vital music scene here on Mull. Their fiddle week, which is open to fiddlers of all ages is a very appealing project indeed!

As a fiddle player, I love their work and relish seeing the young musicians progressing through their musical career. It’s a very special thing indeed and I’m delighted to work with them in documenting their work.
