National Library of Scotland – 100 Years of Broadcasting
To mark the centenary of broadcasting the National Library of Scotland have created a Festival of Broadcasting.
I delivered 6 workshops for the festival on the West Coast of Scotland.
The tour took in Campbeltown, Tobermory, Strontian, Barra, Benbecula and Harris and was in English and Gaelic.
It was fascinating to explore what broadcasting culture means to young people now, most of whom were born after the analogue switch off.
Each school generated films as part of the project, these will be drawn together by the young people who took part, acting as an editorial team, in the coming weeks.
