Our Island Stories – Screen Argyll

My friend Jack Lockhart and I developed a series of workshops for the Scottish Islands Federation to train young people to make films about the topics that matter to them through our company Screen Argyll. 

We used a mix of training videos and online Zoom sessions to help the young participants find out how to use their voice as filmmakers. You can see the films and find out more about the project here.

Working with friends is always a pleasure. Jack’s skillset is really fantastic and compliments what I have to offer in a most pleasing way. He has an exceptional artists eye and is able to communicate perspectives to our participants with skill and a great sense of fun. We’ve worked together a lot over the last years and I’ve always found something new to learn in spending time with him.
